About Photonics Research Group

Photonics Research Group is a research unit in Electrical & Computer  Engineering department. This group is leaded by Dr. W. P Huang. It is specialized in photonics modelling and simulating research, communication and network research.  Now, there are posdoctor researchers,  Ph. D students,  Master degree students and undergrduate students work and study in this group.  

  Scope and Focus of Our Research

Photonic devices and systems with emphasis on semiconductor laser diodes, packaging and integration of photonic devices and sub-systems, and fiber-optic communication systems

University of Texas at Arlington - Electro-Optics Research Center - multi-department group conducting research in optics/photonics devices, materials, and systems.

National Optics Insitute - Institut national d'optique (INO) - research and development in optics and photonics, as well as products and services. In French and English.
